Westwood Community School District will be closed today, Monday, May 18th, 2026. Currently the district has been asked not to run buses to Brown's Lake and in the town or around Salix. Please assess your storm damage safely and we will see everyone back at school tomorrow!

The Rebels Esports team has made it back to state in Mario Kart for the 3rd year in a row!

The Esports team competes in 3 seasons each year and plays 4 separate titles during those seasons. Since the team's conception in the winter of 2023, they have competed in 10 titles over 8 seasons and have made it to the state tournament in 7 of those 10 titles!

Wish the team good luck as they compete in Marshalltown next Tuesday (5/19)!
